Elf on the Shelf 2014
We are just at the beginning of Elf on the Shelf and this year is more exciting and fun. My son is now four years old, more aware and understands the whole point of Elfie Mike. Yes that's what he named his elf, Mike. We started a couple days late due to weather conditions back in the North Pole. 😉 We will be posting all our different ideas that work well with our toddler and all the different places this guy pops up.
WELCOME
Here he is, his arrival into our home. My son was in shock, surprised and confused on how he got here. He was so in awe when he woke up to find this guy in our tree. He told everyone he saw that day that he had arrived.
HOT CHOCOLATE & COOKIES
Second day in, he surprised him with a served breakfast that includes some of Santa's favorites, hot chocolate and cookies. While he sat at the table eating his breakfast, they watched Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas.
SANTA LETTER TIME
A special package arrived from Santa. Time to write that Christmas list. Under the tree we found this special package from Santa that included a note, special paper, candy kisses and 2 cups with hot chocolate packages and marshmallows.

LAZY NIGHT
He has been a busy little elf. Time to call it a night. He made himself a little bed in our tissue box and used the tissue as his pillow and blankets. Sweet merry dreams everyone.
MORNING BREAKFAST
Breakfast anyone? He helped himself to a bowl of cereal this morning. Silly Mike Elf forgot the milk.
MESSING AROUND
I think he got stuck while in the process of messing with the toilet paper. He better clean this mess up.
JUST HANGING AROUND
It's SPIDER-MAN!!! He loves to play pretend. My son thought it was awesome that he likes to play Spider-Man as well. When he found him he was in awe and ran to his room to get his own mask to match Mike Elfie.
SWEET TOOTH
I see someone had a sweet tooth during the night and he isn't hide it. He got chocolate all over his face.
CAMP OUT
Time for a little camp out. A little tent was built under the dining table with a campfire. He invited a friend this time to join him. They are near the camp fire roasting marshmallows.
ATTACK
ATTACK OF THE TURTLES. I wonder what he did to make the turtles mad. He better climb that tree fast before they catch him.
A LITTLE STUCK
LOL Payback. Mike Elfie taped the turtles to the wall for trying to attack him the night before. He thought it was funny that they couldn't get down.
ELFIE SELIE
Well well well, look what we found in my phone this morning. He is lucky he didn't get caught taking selfies.
MOVIE NIGHT
Someone decided to have a little movie night last night. He looks mighty cozy. Must not of liked the tissue box very much.
CHRISTMAS EVE PRESENT
Came home to a surprise. A Christmas eve present and special cookies for Santa. Saved me some time from baking cookies this year. So now we are set and ready for Santa. Milk (Check), Cookies (Check).
